He began his professional sports career in 2007. At the 2008 World Cross-Country Championships in junior competitions, he became a bronze medalist in the individual championship and a champion in the team event. At the 2009 World Athletics Finals , he took 6th place in the 5000m race. Took 5th place in the CPC 2011 Loop Den Haag Half Marathon with a score of 59.44. Also in 2011, he became the silver medalist of the Portuguese Half Marathon and the bronze medalist of the Lisbon Half Marathon .
Silver medalist at the 2011 Van Damme Memorial in 10,000 meters . May 26, 2013 took 2nd place at the Ottawa marathon - 2: 08.12.
In 2016, he won the Biwa Lake Marathon in Japan with a score of 2: 09.11
2014 Season
May 4, took 8th place in the Hamburg marathon with a personal record of 2: 09.22.
