Biography

Pipa made his debut for Argentinos Juniors on April 14, 1991 in a match with Independiente (1: 1). He played for this team for five years (from 1991 to 1996) and played for her over a hundred matches. Then Pipa was sold to River Plate , where he performed from 1996 to 2000. Here he won all his titles. Initially, the club's head coach, Ramon Diaz, kept the player in the reserve, but after a series of bright matches, Pipa became a solid player of the base.

His performance did not go unnoticed by scouts of European clubs and Pipa moved to Osasuna , where he spent three seasons. There he was a favorite of Pamplone fans, they love him and remember to this day. After Pipa's “ Osasuna ”, he played for a year at Real Murcia and then returned to Argentina. He spent the season behind Huracan and went to the Colombian America Cali , where he spent only six months. The rest of the year, Leonel spent on coaching courses. In 2007, he resumed his career, playing in Puerto Rico , and then moved to his last club in his career, the Argentine third league club Deportivo Moron . In the 2012/13 season, he resumed his career and played three matches for Independiente de Monte .

In January 2012, Pipa Gancedo headed the modest club Comodoro Rivadavia , which coached for three months.

In September 2018, at the age of 47, he resumed his football career, becoming a player in the Andorran club Enkam .
