Malkamud ( Lezg. Malkamud Suv , Azerb. Məlkəmud ) - the top of the Great Caucasus Dividing Range on the border of Azerbaijan ( Oguz District ) and Russia ( Dagestan , Akhtynsky District ). The highest point of the Oguz region [1] . Height 3880 m (according to other sources - 3879 m).

Geography
Mount Malkamud and the right tributary of the Phiya River
The largest of the rivers originating on the slopes of the mountain are Zuranchay ( Samur River Basin) and Urakchay ( Geokchay River Basin).
At the northern foot of the mountain are Dagestan villages: Maza and Fiy .
Etymology
Translated from the Lezgin language means “witch” [2] .
