Mikhail Andreevich Alekseev ( May 5, 1917 , Bappagainsky Settlement, Vilyui ulus , Yakutsk region - September 18, 1995 , Yakutsk ) - Soviet teacher, methodologist, people's teacher of the USSR (1982), excellent student of the USSR public education, honored teacher of the RSFSR (1972) and YaSSR ( 1964). The founder of the first school in Yakutia with an in-depth study of the fundamentals of physics and mathematics, the initiator and inspirer of the physical and mathematical movement in the republic, the reformer of physical and mathematical education, and the innovator of profile training in the 1960s .

In 1966, in the Verkhnevilyuy secondary school, Verkhnevilyuy district of the Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , specialized physical and mathematical classes were opened by his efforts. In 1974, Verkhnevilyuy Secondary School No. 2 (now the Republican Boarding School of M. A. Alekseev), by decree of the USSR Ministry of Public Education on September 12, 1974, received the status of a republican school with an in-depth study of the basics of physics and mathematics.

Biography

He was born on May 5, 1917 in the Bappagain settlement of the Vilyui ulus . At six, he remained an orphan.
In 1936 he graduated from the Yakutsk Pedagogical College. He was appointed a teacher of mathematics and physics at the Rodchev seven-year school in the Srednekolymsky district of the YASSR .
In 1939 he entered the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Ryazan State Pedagogical Institute . In the same year he was drafted into the Red Army .
He was elected secretary of the Komsomol committee of the 20th separate combat engineer battalion of the 99th rifle division . In June – August 1941, a wounded man was captured in the battles near Przemysl (the events are described in the Pravda newspaper dated June 19, 1966 in the article “The first counterattack”: on the feat of the soldiers of the 99th Infantry Division, who recaptured the Nazis and during weeks holding the city of Przemysl in their hands). In 1942, after escaping from captivity and returning, he was convicted and sentenced to ten years in a forced labor camp. In 1956, he was completely rehabilitated by the Military Tribunal of the North Caucasus Military District.
In 1951-1955 - a student at the Yakut Pedagogical Institute . After graduation, and until 1958, he worked in the Dalyr Secondary School of the Verkhnevilyuysky District of the YaASR. Until 1960, he worked in the Berdigestyakh secondary school of the Mountain region of the YaASR . In 1960 he moved to Verkhnevilyuysk , began to work in the Verkhnevilyuy secondary school named after Isidor Barakhov . Thanks to his efforts, the school gained the status of a republican school with an in-depth study of the basics of physics and mathematics, where he worked until 1985.
