Facts

  • During the show, Steve Austin was searched by the Goodwin , Dominant Nation, and Los Borikvas to attack him. Just before the Royal Battle, Los Borikvas thought that the Skull that was supposed to enter the Battle at number 22 was Steve Austin and beat him (because he looks very much like Steve from the back). Thus, only 29 wrestlers were able to take part in the Battle, instead of 30
  • Mick Foley went to the Royal Battle 3 times. The first time as Jack Cactus (number 1), the second time as Mankind (number 16) and the third time as Dadi Love (number 28). However, all three of his attempts were unsuccessful and he never won the Royal Battle.
  • Jeff Jarrett was the only NVA representative in this battle.
  • Owen Hart was attacked by Jeff Jarrett and Jim Cornett during his release. He entered the match only when Jeff officially entered the match himself.
  • Mike Tyson attended the show.
