Among the main parties are the Wagnerian repertoire: King Mark in Tristan and Isolde , King Heinrich in Lohengrin , Count in Tannhauser , Fafner in Gold of the Rhine , Hunding in Valkyrie , and Zarastro in The Magic Flute , Tommaso in the "Valley" by Eugene d'Albert . Participant in the first major recording of The Ring of the Nibelung : most of the first act of The Valkyries ( 1913 , Blütner Orchestra conducted by Edmund von Strauss , together with Jacques Decker , Erna Dener and Heinrich Knot ).
