AN / SPS-43 (also known as AN / SPS-37A) is an American shipborne long-range radar company Westinghouse . Modification of the AN / SPS-37 radar, which differs from the prototype in better protection against electronic countermeasures [2] .

Used with two types of antennas: SPS-29 for specially built missile cruisers and SPS-37 for aircraft carriers and converted artillery cruisers. The SPS-37 antenna had twice the width and a narrower beam, which provided a more accurate determination of the azimuth [2] .
In total, Westinghouse produced and delivered 49 AN / SPS-43 units. Currently removed from service and replaced by a more modern radar AN / SPS-49 [2] .
