Content

About the album

The release of the fourth album of the group took place on June 26, 2012. The first single from the album was the song “Payphone”, recorded together with Wiz Kalifa [1] . The second single was the song “One More Night” [2] . The album did not work the main keyboard player Jesse Carmichael , who temporarily left the group. [3] To record the album was invited keyboardist PJ Morton, who since 2010 has participated in concert performances of the musical group. The album's executive producer was Max Martin . In addition, some tracks were produced by Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco. The album "Overxposed" is significantly different in sound from previous work of the team. So guitarist of the group James Valentine spoke about this album [4] :

 At this stage of our career, it was useful for us to change something in the creative process, and these changes have borne fruit. We wanted the album to sound modern, but with elements of pop music from its earliest periods. This is the most pop album in the history of the group, and we are not ashamed of it.
