Content
Story
The plot consists of several parallel developing love stories. Moscow courtyard 1936. In the family of Pavel Ivanovich and Praskovya Ivanovna Zakharov, the housekeeper Olya appears, whom their son Kolya begins to look after. Sergei Sergeyevich’s son, Valentin, takes care of the neighbor Fields, and the driver Mishka Zastrelikhin takes care of Irina (whom her mother calls Iraida Petrovna). And Irina is in love with Yegor Gavrilovich, whom she affectionately calls Georgie, and he being married more than once, is not interested in marriage: "... I tried this mash ..."
Kolya's parents negatively perceive his attitude to Olya. But there is a rumor that Olya is a journalist and collects materials for an article about the residents of the house.
This makes Kolya's parents and neighbors change their attitude towards her. All the inhabitants of the house became friendly and turned to the housekeeper only dear Olga Vasilievna. But two weeks later, the Zakharova couple overheard the conversation between Kolya and Olya. And it became clear to everyone that she was just a simple girl. She was asked to leave the house. And so bad luck for the "simple girl" came her own uncle - the director of the 7th plant Belousov Konstantin Nikolaevich ...
