Metz ( Greek: Μετς ) - Athens district, located on Longinu Hill, near Arditos Hill, southeast of the Zappion Exhibition Hall ; extends to the first Athenian cemetery.

The area was named after the Mets beer restaurant, opened on the banks of the Ilisos River by the Bavarian Charles Fix in memory of the Lorraine city of Metz . The previous, more ancient name of the area is Pandremenadika ( Παντρεμενάδικα ).

The area is served by the Acropolis Athens metro station .
