The coat of arms of the city of Ruza is the official symbol of the urban settlement of Ruza (which existed in 2005-2017), represented by a traditional heraldic shield , in the red (scarlet) field of which four silver swords are placed at the cross, with golden hilt to the sides from the center of the shield. Approved by the decision of the Council of Deputies of the city settlement of Ruza of October 24, 2006 .

Heraldry justification
The historical emblem of the city settlement, approved on March 16, 1883, was taken as the basis for this coat of arms of the city of Ruza , a full description of the historical coat of arms reads:
“There are four in the scarlet shield, silver swords with gold handles placed at the cross, as a sign of the many battles that took place at this city in ancient times.”
The colors depicted on the coat of arms carry the following meanings:
- The red color is a symbol of courage, selflessness, heroism, courage, fair struggle, a symbol of military and labor achievements of local residents.
- Golden is a symbol of wealth, greatness, strength, stability and prosperity.
- Silver symbolizes purity, wisdom, nobility, perfection, peace, innocence.
