Artaxerxes II ordered the execution of Tissafern and offered Agesilaus peace, but he refused and led the troops to Phrygia . Ambassador Artaxerxes Tiffrast sent to Greece the Rhodians Dorius and Timocrates with Persian money. The Spartans managed to capture and execute Dorius, but Timocrates managed to distribute Persian money in Athens, Thebes , Argos and Corinth and bribed the most prominent politicians.
- 395 - Athens forms an indefinite alliance with Boeotia, as well as with Corinth and Argos for joint anti-Spartan action.
- 395 - Thessaly tyrant Medius Alevad destroys the Spartan colony of Heracles.
- 395 - The war between the Opuntia Lokra and the Phocians. The victory of the Phocians. The Thebans invasion of Phokis . The Phocians ask Sparta for help. Lysander persuaded the Ephors to declare a campaign against Thebes and went on a campaign. Pausanias headed for Boeotia through Kiferon. The Athenians decide to help Thebes. Lysander took Orchomenus and Lebidia. Lysander attacked Geliart, but the Thebans made a sortie . Lysander was defeated and killed. Pausanias hurried to Heliart, but was forced to conclude a truce. The Spartans brought Pausanias to justice, but he fled to Tegea.
- 395 - Konon manages to persuade the island of Rhodes to fall away from Sparta. On the island, with the assistance of Konon, a democratic coup takes place.
