The tournament was attended by 6 teams from six regions of the country: Chelyabinsk , Moscow , Kirov , Sverdlovsk , Ulyanovsk and Orenburg regions. Teams from the Novgorod region - HC Borovichi and the Republic of Khakassia - “University” (Abakan) also planned to take part, but refused at the last moment.
Formula
It was planned that 8 teams in the first stage will be divided into 2 groups, where they will play in one round. At the second stage, the winners and second places of the groups will gather in one group, and the teams that take 3-4 places in another. Taking into account the results of matches of the first stage, 1-4 places will be played in the first group, 5-8 places in the second.
After the refusal of two teams to participate in the tournament, it was decided to identify the winner in the one-round tournament of six teams by the highest number of points scored.
