Gizi (Athens area)
Gizi ( Greek Γκύζη ) - the Athens region, located north of Alexander Avenue (λεωφόρος Αλεξάνδρας); It borders with the areas of Kipseli (in the north-west), Polygono (in the north), Abelokipi (in the east), Kuduryotika (in the southeast), Naples (in the south), Field of Mars (Pedion tou Areos, in the west). Basically, Gizi was built up with apartment buildings in the 1960-1970s. The area is served by Abelokipi and Panorama stations of the third Athens metro line . In administrative-territorial terms, Gizi is part of the 7th district of Dima Athens.
