Ambelokipi
Ambelokipi ( Greek Αμπελόκηποι ) is the eastern region of Athens , bordered by the regions of Gudi , Pangrati , the community (dim) of Zographos and the suburb of Psychicon [1] .
Abelokipi is the most populated area of the city. It grew especially fast between 1960 and 1970 . On the territory of the district, two stations of the blue line of the Athens metro "Panormu" and "Ambelokipi" were built .

The buildings of the Supreme Court and the police station are located here. The highest building in Greece , the first "real" skyscraper in the country after Hilton Athens erected on Mesogion Avenue , built in 1963, - Tower of Athens 1 [2] .
The village of the same name was created in 1845 ( ΦΕΚ 32Α ) and abolished in 1889 ( ΦΕΚ 251Α ) [3] .
