Neon Trees (from the English - “Neon Trees”) is an American rock band, was created in 2005 by the lead singer Tyler Glenn and guitarist Chris Allen.

History
Beginning (2005-2009)
The group was founded in 2005 in the city of Provo , Utah , by Tyler Glenn and Chris Allen, who lived next door to each other. With the arrival of bassist Brendan Campbell and drummer Elaine Bradley, the band began to actively tour the state. David Charles plays the guitar during live performances and, of course, in all the band's videos. All musicians are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . The name of the group was given by Chris Allen; According to him, he was inspired by a neon sign depicting trees near an In-N-Out Burger restaurant.
The group gained the most fame at the end of 2008 during a tour with The Killers . Shortly after, Mercury Records offered them a contract.
Habits Album and Subsequent Success (2010–2011)
In 2010, after contracting with Mercury Records, the band released their debut studio album, Habits . Their first single , Animal, rose to 13th place on the Billboard Hot 100 and to the first place on the alternative rock chart . In addition to the single, public attention was also attracted by the performance of Justin Bieber ’s song “Baby” and “Stand by Me” by Ben King .
Picture Show Album (2011—2014)
November 11, 2011 the group began work on the album Picture Show . On December 7, 2011, Rolling Stone magazine published an article about the next single, "Everybody Talks." On February 11, an official video appeared on Youtube . In March 2012, the single "Everybody Talks" was featured in Buick Verano commercials.
Pop Psychology Album (2014 -present )
On April 22, 2014, the album Pop Psychology was released.
