Career
As a player
Pupil of the Dzerzhinsky club " Chemist ". In 1986, he first appeared on the field as part of the club. In 1987, he spent 19 games for Gorky Lokomotiv , and the following year he was drafted into the army [1] .
In 1990, he played 18 matches and scored 5 goals for the Arzamas club team “ Banner ”. Then he moved to Lokomotiv Nizhny Novgorod, where he spent 38 games and scored 13 goals in the USSR championship.
In 1992, he made his debut in the Nizhny Novgorod club Lokomotiv in the Higher League of Russia , played for him until 1993, having spent 52 matches during this time and scored 14 goals. In 1994, he moved to Vladikavkaz Spartak , for which he then played until the summer of 1995, having played 30 meetings during this time and scored 1 goal.
He finished the 1995 season at the Dynamo Gazovik club in Tyumen, spent 5 matches. From 1996 to 1997 he played for the Sochi club " Pearl ", played 35 meetings.
He spent the 1998 season in the Kuban club, as part of which he took part in 20 games and scored 2 goals [2] . In 1999, he returned to Lokomotiv Nizhny Novgorod and played 15 matches for him.
In the 2000 season, he once again performed as a member of FC Zhemchuzhina, played 31 championship matches and 1 match in the Russian Cup . In 2001, he returned to Lokomotiv for the last time as a player, spent 2 games, scored 1 goal.
He is the world champion among railway workers in football [3] .
As a trainer
At the end of December 2003, he became an assistant to the head coach at FC Lokomotiv-NN , however, by agreement with the club’s management, the contract officially began to operate only on February 1, 2004 [4] . He worked at the headquarters of the Nizhny Novgorod club until 2005.
In June 2016, he was appointed vice president of the Football Federation of Nizhny Novgorod [3] , and since November 2017 he headed the Nizhny Novgorod Lokomotiv-RPM as head coach and coached him in the 2018 season, the team played in the Higher League of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the IFF Cup The Volga Region [5] .
