Noble Spider Web [1] ( lat. Cortinarius gentilis ) is a species of fungi included in the subgenus Leprocybe of the genus Spider Web .

Biological Description
The hat is 1.5-5 (up to 6) cm in diameter, hygrophic , initially conical or bell-shaped, then convex, with a tubercle in the central part. The surface of the hat is silky-fibrous or velvety-felt, sometimes with small pressed scales closer to the edge, wet - yellowish or reddish-brown, dried - ocher-orange or yellow-ocher.
Cortina yellow or yellow-orange. The plates adhered to the pedicle with a tooth descending on it are located quite rarely, wide, thick, in young mushrooms they are light ocher, then darken to dark brown.
Leg 5-15 × 0.2-0.7 cm, not thickening to the base, hollow, usually with a noticeable, white-filamentous, filamentous, root-shaped shoot, fibrous, orange-buffy, with several more or less noticeable orange-yellow belts formed by residues common bedspreads.
The flesh is yellow, sometimes with an orange-brown tint, with a faint, sometimes completely invisible, rare smell.
Distribution and related species
The fungus is found in coniferous and mixed forests, forming mycorrhiza with pine and spruce. Fruiting is usually observed from July to October.
Edibility
A highly poisonous mushroom whose polypeptides cause impaired renal function. A similar poisoning is caused by a mountain cobweb and a brilliant cobweb . The presence of toxic substances in the fungus was proved by experiments on rats.
