Gazelek Ajaccio ( French: Gazélec Football Club Ajaccio ) is a French football club from the city of Ajaccio . It was founded in 1910. Spends home games at the stadium " Angers Casanova ", accommodating 6,000 spectators.

The name of the club was given by the EDF-GDF corporation, combining the energy companies Gaz de France and Élec tricité de France .

For a long time, the best result for the club in the French championships was 5th place in Group B of League 2 in the 1991/92 season. The best result in the national cup draws is reaching the semifinals in the 2011/12 season . In the 2013/2014 season, the team managed to take 3rd place in the National Championship, which allowed them to return to League 2 again a year after the relegation.

In the 2014/15 season, the team took second place in League 2 , which allowed her to participate in the League 1 draw for the first time in her history.
