Career
Lou Amundson nominated himself for the 2006 NBA Draft , but was never selected. For the 2006–2007 season, he signed a contract with the NBA Development Club “ Colorado Fotiners ”. In 2007, Amundson was named Newcomer of the Year by the NBA Development League .
On March 8, 2007, Lou signed a ten-day contract with Philadelphia . [one]
On August 14, 2008, Amundson signed a two-year contract with Phoenix Suns . [2] On June 30, 2009, Suns took advantage of a clause in the contract and extended the contract for a year. [3]
On September 13, 2010, Amundson signed a two-year contract worth $ 4.7 million with Golden State Warriors , with the possibility of a further extension for 2 years. [4] In 46 games, he scored 4.3 points and 4 rebounds in 15 minutes.
On December 19, 2011, Amundson was traded to Pacers for Brandon Rush . [five]
On September 24, 2012, he signed a contract with Minnesota Timberwolves . [6]
On February 8, 2013, “Minnesota” dismissed Amundson. In the 2012/2013 season, 30-year-old Amundson played 20 matches, gaining 1.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game on average [7] .
On March 2, 2013, Amundson signed a 10-day contract with the Chicago Bulls . [8]
On March 12, 2013, Amundson signed a contract with the New Orleans Hornets until the end of the season [9] .
