Club

Kostadin Stoyanov was born on May 2, 1986 in Sliven in the family of an agronomist and kindergarten teacher. At age 8, he began to play football at a local club. In 2002, when he was 16 years old, he was accepted to the Chernomorets school (Burgas) . He made his debut in the first team of “ sharks ” in the 2004/05 season. The first match was played against Litex , having entered the field in the second half. After the team relegated to the second division, Stoyanov played only 5 games. A difficult period began for him, coupled with numerous injuries that accompanied him until the end of the season. Then the player goes to Zagorets , in which he played 2 seasons. In June 2007, he transferred to Sliven . After two good seasons at Sliven on June 24, 2009, he signed a 3-year contract with CSKA (Sofia) . He scored the first goal for the team on September 20, 2009 in a derby with Levski (2-0).

In the summer of 2013, Kostadin signed a contract with the Beroe club for 2 years [2] . He played three games, was injured, and six months later left the club [3] . Only in September 2015, he, together with midfielder Ivan Stoyanov , signed a contract with the Vereya club [4] . Not playing a single game for the team, in July 2016 he moved to Botev [5] . Already on August 24, having played only 3 games, Stoyanov terminated the contract with the club [6] and played in the Third Amateur Football League for the reserve team of Vereya until the end of the season. In June 2017, he signed a contract with Sozopol from the Second League [7] .

Team

In June 2007, the defender took part in the European Amateur Football Championship - the UEFA Cup of Regions in Bulgaria. Stoyanov played in the final of the tournament, in which Bulgaria lost the match to Poland 1: 2. On October 2, 2009, Stoyanov was called up by Stanimir Stoilov to the national team for matches against Cyprus and Georgia.
