Career

Club

He began his professional career in 2006 at Riga's Olympus . He played in the team until the end of 2009. In the winter of 2010, he joined the Skonto squad. In the 2010 season he played for the team in 17 matches, in which he scored 8 goals. According to the results of the championship, "Skonto" took first place. In early 2011, Daniel joined the Hungarian club Zalaegerszeg . In March 2012 he returned to Latvia, having signed a contract with the football club "Ventspils" [2] . On April 1, in a match with Skonto (0: 1), Daniel made his debut as part of Ventspils in the Latvian championship [3] . The first goal for Ventspils was scored on April 15 at the Gulbene goal [4] .

He played for the national teams of Latvia until 17 , 19 and 21 years . On November 17, 2010 in a friendly match with the Chinese national team (0: 1) he made his debut for the first national team . The footballer entered the field in the starting lineup and was replaced at the 77th minute of the meeting [5] .
