Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD

February 26, 2012, the day before the opening of the world's largest exhibition of the mobile industry, Mobile World Congress 2012, on the so-called “zero day” ^[18] , Huawei managed to attract the attention of numerous IT journalists with its latest developments. Among the innovations shown was a 10- inch tablet with advanced features ^{[7] [19] [20]} .
The company held the second public display of the gadget at the Berlin International Exhibition IFA 2012 ^[21] .
Officially, the tablet went on sale in Russia in the second half of October 2012 ^[1] .

The device is based on the company's own development, SoC HiSilicon K3V2 , which has sufficient capacity ^[22] to maintain the FullHD system. It was planned ^[23] that due to the unique processor, the tablet would be the fastest at the time of release ^[24] , but due to the lack of proper driver support, some competitive solutions turned out to be more productive ^[25] . The processor is manufactured at the facilities of the company TSMC on 40-nm process technology ^[29] . It combines 4 cores of ARM Cortex-A9 with frequencies of 1.2 GHz ^[8] (or 1.4 GHz) and a graphics accelerator HTI 16 ^[30] with 16 computing blocks GC4000 from Vivante ^{[31] [32]} . The system is serviced by a 64-bit memory controller .

The semiconductor chip responsible for satellite navigation allows the device to interact with two systems - GPS and GLONASS ^[11] .
