Activities

The Banner of Truth

The trust publishes the monthly The Banner of Truth magazine , usually published 11 times a year (issues for August and September are combined into one issue) [4] . The first issue of the journal was published in September 1955 [5] and by December 2010 the number of issues exceeded 560 [6] .

Conferences

The Banner of Truth Trust also holds international conferences :

  • annual youth conference in the UK [7] ;
  • annual conference in the USA [8] ;
  • Conference in Australia (once every two years) [9] .

Destinations

The activities of the trust are associated with a revival of interest in evangelical Calvinism in England in the 20th century [10] ; promotes the ideas of Puritan theology [11] and revives the ideas of Jonathan Edwards [3] [12] [13] .

Criticism of Activities

The Banner of Truth 's predisposition to reprint Puritan writers is periodically criticized. One of the reviews of the collection of reprinted sermons by Richard Sibbs criticizes the policy of the trust as a whole and raises the question of the need for such reprints [14] .
