Tridimit ( Greek trídymos - triple, so named because of twinning of crystals and the formation of tees [3] ), asmanite [1] - a rare [1] mineral from the class of silicas with the chemical formula SiO 2 , found in meteorites [1] and in erupted cracks rocks in Hungary and Mexico [4] , was also discovered on Mars by the Curiosity rover of the Martian scientific laboratory [5] .
