Biography

Sister of the Soviet animator N.P. Khodataev (1892-1979).

After graduating from the school of painting, sculpture and architecture in Moscow in 1918, she worked as a graphic designer and graphic designer.

In 1924 she came into animation, worked in a multimaster workshop at the State Customs Committee under the guidance of her brother, and later at the Mezhrabpom-Rus , Sovkino ( Soyuzkino , Mosfilm ) factories.

From 1927 to 1932 she worked in the creative team of the sisters Valentina and Zinaida Brumberg .

She participated as a co-author of the animated design of the plays “About Dziuba” and “Ebony and Monkey” in the theater under the direction of N. I. Sats (now the Moscow State Academic Children's Musical Theater named after N. I. Sats ).

In 1936-1960 - Director of the Soyuzmultfilm movie studio . She was a member of the Soyuzmultfilm artistic council.

For many years she collaborated with the artist and director P.N. Nosov .
Since 1954, she worked together with L.V. Aristov .
