Medea Akakievna Dzidziguri ( Georgian მედეა ძიძიგური ; February 24, 1942 - November 6, 1999 ) is a Georgian singer, performer of Georgian and Russian romances, city and variety songs. People's Artist of Georgia.

Mother - Irina Zhgenti, professor at the Tbilisi State Institute of Foreign Languages, head of the institute’s department.

Creative Biography
Graduated from the Institute of Foreign Languages. As a French specialist, she worked for some time in the Institute's phonological laboratory. She began performing as a soloist of the Institute’s variety orchestra under the direction of Gogi Shioshvili.
The first recital of M. Dzidziguri with great success was held on November 30, 1971 at the Tbilisi House of Railway Workers.
Over the years, she performed with Rero ensembles under the direction of Konstantin Pevzner , Tsitsinatel, Dielo, with the Georgian Television and Radio Orchestra under the direction of Tengiz Jayani, with the Sionari duduk ensemble. Accompanists of the singer were D. Machavariani, M. Gongliashvili, K. Pevzner, I. Tbileli, L. Khugashvili.
She has toured with success in the USSR and abroad, singing, among other things, songs in the language of the country in which she performed.
The best Georgian poets and composers - Dzhansug Charkviani , Anna Kalandadze , Georgy Tsabadze , Dzhemal Sepiashvili, Inola Gurgulia, Rusudan Sebiskveradze and many others - considered it an honor to write songs for Medea Dzidziguri.
In honor of the 25th anniversary of her creative activity, she made a big tour in the cities of Georgia and Russia.
From 1993 to 1998 - Director of the Tbilisi House of Art Workers.
Died in 1998. She was buried in Tbilisi , in the Didube Pantheon of writers and public figures of Georgia.
