CEPT (short for French Conférence européenne des administrations des postes et télécommunications ; Conference of European Post and Telecommunications ) is the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations .

History
Established by 19 European countries in 1959 . As of September 2008, representatives from 48 countries were members of the CEPT .
Structure
CEPT has three committees:
- by post ( French Comité européen des régulateurs postaux , abbreviated CERP );
- Electronic Communications Committee ( ECC for short) - formed in 2001 by the merger of the Telecommunications Committee ( ERC ) and Technology ( ECTRA );
- on interaction with ITU ( Committee for ITU Policy ).

Joint Stamp Issues
