Veselov, Kirill Vladimirovich

Kirill Vladimirovich Veselov (born January 11, 1983 ) [1] - Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2007) in orienteering (skiing). Repeated winner and medalist of the World and European Championships.

Biography

Born January 11, 1983 . Lives in Tomsk . In his youth he was engaged in cross-country skiing (coach Moiseev Yu. M., Tomsk). Pupil of the Tomsk school of orienteering (coach Sidorov Yu. K.). The greatest contribution to the formation of the character of the athlete, of course, was made by Kirill's parents - Vladimir Veselov and Marina, both - orienteering masters of the USSR. For many years, he has been training under the guidance of a tandem of trainers - ZTRRF V. S. Bliznevskaya and Khudik Sergey Valerievich (Winter Sports Academy) [1] . He graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of the Siberian Federal University . Employee of the Department of Physical Culture of the Siberian Federal University . [2]

Winner of two world championships among juniors.

He won three medals at the 2007 World Championships in Khimki, Moscow Region. Gold in the men's relay, silver in the long distance (gold went to Eduard Khrennikov ) and bronze was won in the middle distance.

Winner of the European Championship 2006 bronze (Ivanovo) and European Championship 2011 gold (Lillehammer) in the men's relay.

At the 2013 European Championships, paired with Anastasia Kravchenko, they excelled in the mixed relay.
