Vent, Dmitry Pavlovich

Dmitry Pavlovich Vent (born March 21, 1944 ) - Soviet and Russian scientist, rector of the Novomoskovsk Institute of the Russian Chemical and Technical University named after D. I. Biography

Born on March 21, 1944.

In 1967 he graduated from the Novomoskovsk Institute of the Russian University of Chemical Technology. D.I. Mendeleev . In 1971 he defended his PhD, and then, in 1991 - his doctoral dissertation. In 1994, he was elected director of the Novomoskovsk Institute of the Russian Chemical Technical University. D.I. Mendeleev. He is the author of over 200 scientific papers, 18 inventions, more than five textbooks in the field of process modeling and environmental monitoring.

In 2012, as a rector of NI RHTU and in the Council of Rectors, he was replaced by Doctor of Economics Yuri Dmitrievich Zemlyakov , previously the head of the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting [1] , and D.P. Vent was appointed to the post of Advisor to the Rector of FSBEI HPE RCTU.

Awards and titles

Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, Honorary Citizen of Novomoskovsk (2010).
