It is located in the southwestern part of the district, occupying a watershed area between the rivers Left Chavycha and Kopkan.
The shape of the volcano is a regular gentle shield: 8 km in diameter and 40 km 2 in area . The absolute height is 1122 m, the relative height is 400 m. The volume of the erupted material ( basalt ) is 5 km 3 .
Crater is missing. The building is formed exclusively by lava flows.
The activity of the volcano belongs to the Upper Quaternary period.
