Line 1 (Rio de Janeiro)

Line 1 ( port. Linha 1 ) - the first metro line of Rio de Janeiro . The first Gloria section, Prasa Onzi, 4.3 km long with 5 stations, was opened on March 15, 1979 . Today the line is 17.4 km long and has 20 stations, including 6.3 km and 10 common stations for it and line 2 . Completely underground [1] [2] . It connects the central and southern areas of the city. The diagrams are indicated by orange and number 1 [3] .
