The Public Chamber of the Russian Federation of the second composition

The Public Chamber was formed in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation” dated April 4, 2005 No. 32. According to the Law, the Public Chamber is elected every two years (from 2012 - every three years) and interacts with the federal state bodies authorities, state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and local governments in order to take into account the needs and interests of citizens of the Russian Federation, protect the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation II and the rights of public associations in the formation and implementation of state policy in order to exercise public control over the activities of federal executive bodies, executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and local governments, as well as to facilitate the implementation of state policy in the field of ensuring human rights in places of compulsory content.
