Rozanov, Anatoly Vladimirovich

Born in 1954 in Maykop. Anatoly Rozanov is the grand-nephew of the famous Russian artist Olga Rozanova . Soon the family moved to Pyatigorsk , where Anatoly lived until the age of 16.

Then, since his maternal grandfather F.E. Polishchuk was a partisan detachment commander during World War II and was buried in Poltava near the Eternal Flame ^[1] , the family was given an apartment in Poltava ^[2] .

While still at school, Anatoly was actively interested in pop music, fell in love with the Beatles , played the bass guitar in the school ensemble. At the end of school he played in various Poltava VIA. In October 1975, he created at the trade union center VIA Interval ^[3] , which he directed until the spring of 1978. The ensemble's repertoire included popular songs by Soviet composers, including military-patriotic ones. VIA took an active part in the concert programs of the Palace of Culture, performed at dance evenings. From the first concerts, the audience noted the melodic, “Beatle” sound of the ensemble, which, however, is not surprising, since all the musicians of the band loved The Beatles and tried to be like them.

In 1979, Anatoly Rozanov created a female vocal and instrumental ensemble Olimpia at the recreation center of the Poltava Znamya factory, and in 1980 another group, the male VIA Postscript. The Znamya plant produced defense products, was in good standing at its ministry, and its management spared no means for amateur performances ^[4] . Many Poltava musicians passed through these groups. And he would have remained amateur for many years if the famous VIA “Festival” hadn’t broken up in 1987 - a collective that recorded the music of the composer Maxim Dunaevsky for many feature films. Both halves of the “Festival” needed new participants ^[5] , and the former “festivals” led by their music director Oleg Sheremenko turned to Anatoly Rozanov, who worked with VIA “Festival” for a while as a second sound engineer. As a result, the participants of the "half" of the "Festival" teamed up with the musicians of Anatoly Rozanov and under the name "Olympus" got a job at the Krasnoyarsk State Philharmonic. But the joint work did not work out, the "Rozanovskaya" part of "Olympus", having adopted the name "Profile", moved to neighboring Barnaul , where it gave a series of concerts with the then-famous periodical artist Mikhail Evdokimov .

Due to creative disagreements with the leadership of the Altai Philharmonic, the future prospects of the group became vague, but the team led by Anatoly Rozanov invited the director Mikhail Muromov , the former head of VIA "Orpheus" Rafael Mazitov. Accepting the name “Aerobatics”, Anatoly Rozanov’s group accompanied the performances of Mikhail Muromov, performing several songs written by Anatoly Rozanov to the verses of band members Sergei Kuznetsov and Vyacheslav Chernysh (one of these songs, “Be calm for me,” fell into Sergey Belikov’s repertoire: Having looked at the public’s reaction to Muromov’s performances and analyzed his repertoire, Anatoly Rozanov tried to slightly change the musical style of his own work ^[6] . the audience was chattered and cool - by Muromov himself ^[7] . As a result, the musicians, led by Anatoly Rozanov, decided to create their own musical project. So on the night of November 7-8, the Freestyle group was born.

Anatoly Rozanov is the permanent leader of the Freestyle group, almost the only author of the music of all the songs of the group. He created more than 140 songs for Freestyle, including the famous “It Hurts Me, It Hurts” and “ Ah, what a woman!” "(Both on verses by Tatyana Nazarova ^[8] ). In 1996, for the song “Ah, what a woman!” Anatoly Rozanov was awarded the Diploma of the music television festival “Song-96” ^[9] .

In addition to Freestyle, Anatoly Rozanov writes songs for other artists. So, almost a dozen songs were written by him for Svetlana Lazareva (including “The vest” and “Shop”), several songs were included in the repertoire of Felix Tsarikati (“Oh, these legs”, “Woman in blue”), Olga Pryadina ("White Storks"). As part of the Freestyle Plus Hits and Stars project, many young artists created their cover versions of the famous Freestyle songs.

On February 16, 2012, Anatoly Rozanov solemnly opened his own music studio in Poltava, the building for which was built according to a project specially developed by ACOUSTIC . The combination of the acoustic characteristics of the studio premises with a set of high-quality equipment of recognized world brands - according to many sound engineers, is a completely new level of the recording industry for Ukraine.

On March 22, 2013, Anatoly Rozanov was awarded a special award - the Patriot of Ukraine star

Four times married, married with his last wife in 1994. Wife - Nina Vladislavovna Kirso. Sons - Yuri, Vladimir, Maxim. Daughter is Julia.
