"Food of the Gods 2" is a Canadian sci-fi horror film directed by Damian Lee, released in 1989. Continuation of the film by Bert Gordon " Food of the Gods ", which is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Herbert Wells . The second part has nothing to do with the novel.

Story
The plot revolves around a woman scientist Kate Triger, dealing with the problems of growing giant plants. She manages to grow large tomatoes, but some of them are eaten by laboratory rats, which themselves soon after this begin to grow rapidly. Animal defenders unaware of the infection of rats let them out of the laboratory, and they begin to attack people.
