History
Osaka Stock Exchange Co., Ltd. was founded in 1878 .
In June 1943, the exchange became a division of the Japan Securities Exchange in Osaka . However, the activity of the Japan Securities Exchange was suspended in 1945 , and in 1947 the exchange was officially liquidated.
The new law on stock exchanges and securities, adopted in 1948, was the basis for the reconstruction of the Osaka Stock Exchange. The result was the creation of the Osaka Securities Exchange in 1949 .
In 1956, the bond trading system was recreated.
In 1973, the exchange became an associate member of the International Association of Exchanges.
In 1974, a computerized information storage system was launched. Fully trading on the stock exchange became electronic by 1999 .
In 2001, the Osaka Stock Exchange was merged with the Kyoto Stock Exchange.
April 1, 2010 bought the JASDAQ Securities Exchange , which has become one of the Osaka stock exchanges.
In 2012, the Tokyo Stock Exchange took over the Osaka Stock, a combined company founded on January 1, 2013 called Japan Exchange Group, Inc. [four]
