Asteropa consists of two stars: 21 Taurus and 22 Taurus. One name for two stars appeared at a time when the technical capabilities for observations were significantly worse than they are now, and it was impossible to discern that there were 2 stars in a given region of the celestial sphere. The distance between the stars is 0.04 °.

Physical characteristics
Stars are about 440 light-years away from Earth . 21 Taurus is a white and blue dwarf spectral class B with an apparent magnitude +5.76. 22 Taurus refers to the white stars of the main sequence with an apparent magnitude +6.4.
Origin of title
Steropa - in Greek mythology, one of the Pleiad . Ares' beloved, who gave birth to his son Enomai [2] (according to other sources, is Enomai's spouse, mother of Hippodamia [3] ).
