Ildjarn

Ildjarn ( Ildjärn ) is a solo musical project by Vidar Vöer ( Norwegian Vidar Våer ), founded in 1991. Part of the work was co-written with a musician under the pseudonym Nidhogg. Despite the fact that no new recordings have been made since 1997, the project ceased to exist only in 2005. Some of the releases of Ildjarn were black metal with indistinct vocals and poor recording quality, the other part was ambient . Two albums were recorded using exclusively a synthesizer .

The words of only one Ildjarn song, “Eksistensens Jeger,” from Ildjarn-Nidhogg, were published.

In 2006, it was announced on the band’s website that the publication of news had ceased. The failure of the four-track Vauer tape recorder, which was also used in the early recordings of Emperor , was one of the reasons for the project termination. [one]
