According to the 2002 census, the population is 24 residents, 11 men, 13 women.
The northern part of the village is the former village of Spirovo , annexed to the village in the 1970s.

Location
The village of Selishchi is located on the right bank of the Volga (Uglich Reservoir) , 14 km below the city of Kalyazin . Together with the village of Kadanovo of the Kashinsky district , located on the opposite bank (1.3 km), Selishchi are the last settlements on the Volga within the Tver region. Downstream - the territory of the Uglich district of the Yaroslavl region .
Village History
According to the data of [1] 1859, the village of Selishchi had 147 inhabitants at 20 yards. In the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries, the village belonged to the Semendyaevsky volost of the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver province .
