Biography
1954-1959 - student of the forestry department of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy . Upon completion of training, a qualification of a forestry engineer was awarded.
1959-1961 - engineer-taxator of the Khabarovsk Forestry Expedition, Khabarovsk .
1961-1963 - Junior Researcher at the Sakhalin Forest Clementine Station, DalNIIILH, Dolinsk , Sakhalin Region .
1963-1966 - the chief forester of the Dolinsky forestry, the city of Dolinsk , Sakhalin region .
1966-1968 - graduate student of the Department of Forest Taxation of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy . Upon completion in 1968 he defended his thesis for the title of candidate of agricultural sciences.
1968-1972 - student of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Kiev State University . Qualified mathematics (probability theory and mathematical statistics).
1968-1988 - assistant (since 1968), senior lecturer (since 1971), associate professor and head of the department of forest taxation (since 1980) [7] .
1983 - defended his doctoral dissertation and received the title of professor .
1988-1992 - Director of the All-Union (since 1991 All-Russian) Research and Information Center for Forest Resources (VNIITSlesresurs), Moscow .
Since 1992 - Leading Researcher (2009—2011 - Head of the Forest Program) of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis , Austria . [8]
Since 2002 - Chief Researcher at the Forest Institute named after V.N.Sukachev, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences , Krasnoyarsk .
