Biography
Born in the city of Lebedin, now Sumy region, in a working class family. In 1936 he graduated from 8 classes of secondary school. He worked in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Donetsk region, as a machinist at the mine and at the same time studied at the Dzerzhinsk Aeroclub.
He joined the Red Army in June 1941 . He was a cadet of the Chuguev school of military pilots, in 1944 - graduated from the courses for the improvement of officers. He took part in the battles of World War II from January 1942 . The platoon commander of the 7th Infantry Company of the 465th Infantry Regiment of the 167th Sumy Red Banner Infantry Division of the 38th Army of the Voronezh Front, junior lieutenant. He fought on the Voronezh and the 1st Ukrainian fronts.
As a result of three attacks, the company destroyed about 100 Wehrmacht soldiers and 6 machine-gun points near Vyshgorod. Nikolai Lisunov himself especially distinguished himself, was wounded. In stock since March 1947 . He lived in Kiev, worked as a supply manager at a factory of concrete products. He was buried in the Lukyanovsky military cemetery .
