Liliya Dinere ( Latvian. Lilija Dinere , born September 14, 1955 , Riga ) is a Latvian artist and illustrator. The author of images on postage stamps of Latvia [1] [2] [3] . Illustrator of over 50 books. Member of the Board of the Union of Artists of Latvia (2008 - 2011).

Biography

Lilia Dinere was born in 1955 in Riga, in the family of the writer Cecilia Dinere . In 1973 she graduated from high school. I. Rosenthal . In 1980 she graduated from the painting and scenography department of the Latvian Academy of Arts . Since 1981, member of the Union of Artists of Latvia, and from 2008 to 2011, member of the board. Since 1974, participated in more than 150 exhibitions in Latvia and abroad.

Creativity

Works in graphic, watercolor, painting (oil, acrylic, mixed media), wall painting and stained glass. Illustrated more than 50 books, participated in more than 150 exhibitions in Latvia and abroad. 20 exhibitions were personal. Her works can be seen in museums and private collections in different countries. The works of L. Dinere are in museums: the Latvian National Museum of Art, the Tretyakov Gallery , the State Museum of Fine Arts A. Pushkin , the Gotland Museum of Art, the Women's Museum in Bonn, the Latvian National Museum of Art, etc., as well as in private collections in Canada, India, Japan, USA.
