The current coat of arms of the Kosinsky district was approved by the decision of the Zemsky Assembly of the Kosinsky municipal district of February 9, 2009 No. 4 βOn the heraldic symbols of the Kosinsky districtβ and entered into the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation with the assignment of registration number 5589.

Coat of arms official description
| The coat of arms of the Kosinsky municipal district is a shield slanted to the right with a diagonal. The upper margin of the shield is red, the lower is blue. In the center of the shield is a bear going to the right. Four silver feathers are above the semicircle. The crown is crowned with a shield. |
Symbols
- The golden bear symbolizes the indigenous population of the Kosinsky district ;
- red color symbolizes human qualities - courage, beauty, love;
- blue color symbolizes calm, rationality, nobility;
- four perns symbolize four settlements;
- the ascending diagonal symbolizes the desire for progress.
