Biography
Born in Ashgabat in an Azerbaijani family. He started playing football at the age of 8. In 2014, he married, his wife Arina, two twin sons, Alan and Ali, were born in 2015 [1] .
He played for the Turkmen club "Ashgabat" .
In 2012, there were possible rumors about the continuation of a midfielder’s career in Azerbaijan , the footballer held training camps with Khazar-Lankaran [2] but, nevertheless, during the camps, Tagaev did not justify the hopes of head coach Juneate Bichera , and the club refused him . [3] . In the summer of 2012 he moved to the Baku "AZAL" . In March, he left AZAL due to a severe injury [4] .
In the 2013 season, he returned to Ashgabat, distinguished himself in the first round in the match against MTTU , scoring in the 31st minute, the team lost with the score 2: 1 [5] .
Since 2014, the player “Altyn Asyra”, with whom he became the champion in the very first season. Fully missed the 2015 season due to a serious cruciate ligament injury [6] .
In August 2016, he moved to the Uzbek football club "Andijan" [7] [8] .

He played for the Olympic team of Turkmenistan at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou .
His first goal for the national team against Nepal on March 12, 2012 [9] .
