Biography
Born in 1919 in Golpaigan , Isfahan Province , in the family of a religious leader, later Ayatollah, Akhund Mulla Muhammad al-Javad al-Safi (1867-1958) - writer, teacher and scholar in various fields of Islamic sciences, such as fiqh, kalam, hadis and other areas. His mother was Fatima, a poet, daughter of Ayatollah Akhund Mulla Muhammad Ali. Until 1940, he studied at Golpaigan under the leadership of Markhum Akhund Mullah Abdul Qasim, better known as Qutb, he studied Arabic, Kalam , Tafsir , Hadith , fiqh . Subsequently, he studied at the seminary in Najaf , Iraq under the leadership of the great Ayatollah Boroujerdi . During the Islamic Revolution in Iran, 1979 proved to be a supporter of the revolution. He currently lives and teaches at the seminary in the city of Qom . [one]
