Chervinsky, Dmitry Petrovich

He graduated from 8 classes of Kiev secondary school No. 25, in 1979 - Kiev Electromechanical College of Railway Transport (KEMT).

In 1990 - the evening faculty of the Kiev branch of the Kharkov Institute of Transport Engineers (KF KHIT).

He served in the army (in the Baltic States and Leningrad), worked as an engineer in the Automation and Telemechanics department at the Soyuzgazproekt institute (Ukrgazproekt).

In 1986, he wrote an essay about I.E. Yakir . At the same time, he met the writer-brigade commander I.V. Dubinsky . Over the course of several years, he helped him prepare for the reissue of the expanded version of the novel “Against the Winds”, as well as the publication of the book “Special Account” on Stalinist repressions in the army, M. Voenizdat, 1989.

Initiated:

• holding an anniversary evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Ilya Dubinsky in the National Union of Writers of Ukraine with the participation of: Yuri Mushketik , Polykarp Shabatin , Ivan Tsyupa , Stepan Kryzhanovsky , Petr Biba, Leonid Vysheslavsky , Alexei Yushchenko, Leonid Korenevich ;
• the creation of a commission on literary heritage;
• the establishment of a plaque, published essays about him.
• He published an essay about the choirmaster and composer Major Egoshua Pavlovich Sheinin and initiated the restoration of his monument at the military cemetery in Potsdam (Germany) and the installation of a porcelain medallion with a color portrait on it.
