Elena Anatolievna Antonova (born November 9, 1978 in Moscow , USSR ) is a Russian athlete, Honored Master of Sports in synchronized swimming . 2000 Olympic champion in group competitions. Three-time European champion.

Biography
Since 1994, Elena Antonova began to be involved in the Russian national synchronized swimming team. The main victories in Antonova’s career were won in groups. Three times the Russian synchronized athlete became the European champion in the national team in group exercises (1995, 1999, 2000). In 1999, Antonova won the synchronized swimming world cup.
At the Summer Olympics, Elena Antonova first performed in 1996 at the Games in Athens . The debut was not the most successful and the Russian team with Antonova in the composition took only 4th place.
At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, the Russian team was already the main favorite of the tournament. Elena Antonova as part of the team took part in group competitions and, together with her teammates, became the Olympic champion. At the end of the games, Antonova decided to end her sports career.
Currently works as a trainer in the School of Labor.
