History
According to the data of 1859 [1], the owner's village of Arkhangelsk had 160 inhabitants at 10 yards. In the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries, the village of Arkhangelsk belonged to the Ivanishinsky parish of the Yemelyanovsky volost of the Staritsky district of the Tver province . In 1886 - 21 courtyards, 163 residents. In 1919, Arkhangelskoye as part of the Redkinsky Village Council of the Emelyanovsky volost of the Staritsky district, 34 yards, 199 residents. From 1929 to 1956, Arkhangelskoye was part of the Yemelyanovsk district (from 1935 - in the Kalinin region ).
