Reviews
Bakhyt Kenzheev all the time takes certain steps in his work. To the side, forward - anywhere, just to go. And this poet's creative credo is deeply pleasing to me. But, when he begins to actively “wander off” from his own recognition, in my opinion, this is counterproductive for himself. The audience warmly accepts the good and painfully familiar and is not always as joyfully ready to welcome a purely experimental one.
- Alexander Karpenko
Kenzheev often writes as if someone objects to him. Either life, or the steppe, or Russia. The seminars are just designed to handle disputes that never end in Kenzheev’s poems. Disputes - that is, dialogues. Dialogical monologues. The muse of rhetoric here meets with just muse.
- Alexander Kasymov . In the cramped retreating years ... // " Banner " No. 11, 2000
Kenzheev is an easy poet. And his poetry is light. Including in the old, two hundred years ago - Batyushkov and Vyazemsky - meaning: continuous trinkets - elegy (albeit not in the literal designation of the genre, but in the spirit of Kenzheev - elegiac poet), messages, enumerations of favorite trifles, impressive tracking of the calendar, although even counting eschatological time ...
