Olema is a village in the Leshukonsky district of the Arkhangelsk region . It is the administrative center of the Olemsky rural settlement (the Olemskoe municipality) and the only settlement in its composition with the status of a village [1] .

Geographical position
The village is located on the left bank of the Vashka River, at the mouth of its tributary, the Olema River. The nearest village of Olemsky rural settlement, the village of Bolshaya Shchelya , is located 5 km to the southeast. The administrative center of the district, the village of Leshukonskoye , is 49 km away. [2]
